CLASS INFORMATION BY DIVISION

 

CHILDREN’S DIVISION

A wonderful introduction to the art of ballet. Exploring Movement with imagery and music. Teaching the JOY of DANCE!

Creative Dance through Pre-Ballet II

(Children’s Division, ages 3 - 7)

Age-appropriate ballet vocabulary, motor skill development and coordination exercises are part of the syllabus in these class levels. Preparing the foundation for more formal youth ballet training.

 

STUDENT DIVISION

A youth specific syllabus and curriculum for students to enjoy the dance and develop technical skills.

Ballet Level I through Ballet Level IV

(Student Division, ages 7-12)

Curriculum: Ballet, Pre-Pointe, Modern, Contemporary/Jazz Conditioning/Pilates, Dance History & Performance Repertoire

PRE-PROFESSIONAL TRAINING DIVISION

The Pre-Professional program is divided into three levels, I, II, III. This is an preporitory program designed to strengthen the dancers technical skills and develop performance art take students to a higher level. Pre-professional A & B are two years of placement

Pre-Professional A and B

(Pre-Professional Division, ages 10-13)

Curriculum: Ballet, Pointe Technique, Variations, & Repertoire Modern/Contemporary Technique, Cross Training, Dance History & Seminars

PROFESSIONAL TRAINING DIVISION

The Professional Training Division works at a professional technical level. The students must have the strength and ability to execute more extensive technical skills. The division has a strong focus on performance artistry, interpretation of movement, choreography concepts necessary for professional dance.

Professional Training I and II

(Professional Training Division, ages 11+)

Curriculum: Ballet, Pointe Technique, Variations, & Repertoire Modern/Contemporary Technique, Cross Training, Dance History & Seminars
